Bas Rutten’s Elite MMA product and Badbeat MMA veteran Mike Jasper has found great success in the BAMMA Cage. Jasper (5-0) has put together three wins in BAMMA USA’s Badbeat series.

The Badbeat MMA fans have seen various facets of Jasper’s improving skills and resiliency. In his first Badbeat bout, Mike Jasper defeated Team Alpha Male’s Teshawn ‘Money Train’ Walls via TKO. In his second bout, Jasper faced a new challenge in Miguel Cosio. With his 6’3 frame, Cosio’s height and reach caused some problems for Jasper, which affected his timing and fight rhythm. After a landed low blow kick and an attempted cheap shot thrown by Cosio, that all changed. The energized Jasper, feeding off the Babdeat MMA fans, exchanged strike for strike with Cosio. In the 3rd round, Mike Jasper defeated Migel Cosio via TKO. The bloodied Cosio needed assistance getting out of the BAMMA Cage. Just 9 months ago at Badbeat 6 (July 13th), Mike Jasper faced the toughest challenge of his young professional MMA career when he faced Team Quest’s Manny ‘Sergeant’ Murillo (4-1). Murillo and Jasper both entered Badbeat 6 undefeated. Knowing that neither opponent wanted a loss on their record, Murillo-Jasper was one of the most anticipated fights of the Badbeat 6 card. It had ‘Fight of the Night’ potential written all over it; and their fight did not disappoint. After 3 exciting rounds of action, it went to decision. In a split decision, Mike Jasper was declared the winner. The announcement brought the Badbeat MMA fans to their feet. If you have an opportunity to see a Mike Jasper fight live, the chants of ‘Stu’ are commonplace. Now Jasper (5-0) puts his undefeated record on the line again when he faces Kyle ‘The Maniac’ Bolt (3-1). Bolt enters Badbeat 7 on his own win streak, recording 3 straights victories via 3 straight submissions (Triangle choke, heel hook, and armbar). Another ‘Fight of the Night’ potential bout?
